I met Ernestine Jackson long ago and was excited to do so because when I first moved to NY and was forced to work in a restaurant, I found that she had once worked in that same restaurant and was then on B'way. She was so nice when I met her and I still have the autographed photo she gave me. I saw her in "Raisin" several times. It is wonderful to know the great effect "Dolly" had on so many people.
