Does Donald Trump (and the GOP) Respect YOU...OR How Trump's Surrogates Behaved on TV over the past 24 Hours!

The secret to my career success is that I always represented entertainment without malice.

For the most part, you can’t respect people because most people aren’t worthy of respect.

Happy October 26th, 2016!

October 26 is the 300th day of the year. There are 66 days remaining until the end of the year.
5 Days till Halloween (AND MY SHOW! Details below). 176 days until Bette Midler's official opening night in Hello, Dolly! AND 12 Days till the election!

Today is also Hillary Clinton's Birthday! I am giving a full disclaimer here. Those who know and follow me know that I'm with Her! When I look at the Republican Party, I see a party that celebrates bullying tactics. If anyone reading this disagrees with me, I would love to talk with you. I'll be more than happy to make sure that your voice is heard.

Right. He acts on his lack of respect for women and minorities. He also has no respect for his supporters and donors whose funds often go into his very own pockets. He is a con artist from start to finish. A series of interviews conducted in 2014 reveal Donald Trump’s unrelenting focus on fame, and his belief that “most people aren’t worthy of respect.” Read MORE

Can we take it? As I observe, I see anger and

dissension that has been heating up all year and is about to boil over. One hour before beginning my blog this morning, I posted the following on Facebook (which also got tweeted out:
My blog today is on Donald J. Trump, the #GOP, and respect. I would like you to post every example that you can think of in which he and/or his party has shown respect for others. I also would like EVERY example you can post in which he/they have shown disrespect. Please make sure anything you post is vetted.

My blog will be posted at 5PM EST. As of this moment, I have received no response.

I got the idea for today's blog because of what I observed LAST night on the various news channels.

Trump kept floating the possibility after the third and final debate that he’ll challenge the results of the presidential election if there’s a “questionable result,” while teasingly promising to embrace the outcome “if I win.” THIS IS ONE OF OUR PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE ELECTION!

A few weeks ago, it was shocking when leaked audio came out featuring Trump in 2005 describing how he tried unsuccessfully to seduce a married woman by taking her furniture shopping, speaking in the crudest terms. He bragged that because he was a star he could “grab [females] by the ...” and claimed to Billy Bush that

he starts kissing beautiful women “like a magnet. Just kiss.  I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it.  You can do anything.”  Bush eggs him on:  “Whatever you want!”

Trump is known for making awful comments about women, but this was on another level — an explicit description, and even a celebration, of sexual assault. And soon enough, women started coming forward to accuse Trump of assaulting them in exactly the way he described.

Last night, Megyn Kelly and Newt Gingrich got into a heated discourse on this story that will not (and SHOULD NOT) go away.
In a raucous back and forth between Fox News'  Kelly and serial adulterer Newt Gingrich , Gingrich demanded that Kelly call Bill Clinton a "sexual predator" and informed her she was "fascinated with sex" for her reporting on

allegations of unwanted advances and groping by the Republican presidential

nominee, Donald J. Trump. Read More). Kelly responded to Gingrich's comment and asked, "really?" She went on to say she's "not fascinated by sex," but is "fascinated by the protection of women" and added that she had a responsibility to cover the accusations. Donald Trump has been saying all along that these allegations by several women are "absolutely false" that he groped them, and accused Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, the media and lobbyists of engaging in an effort to stop him from winning the White House.

New York Magazine wrote this: "Donald Trump surrogates certainly have a knack for undermining

their nominee. Days after Trump further repelled suburban women with his “nasty woman” remark, Newt Gingrich unloaded on Megyn Kelly during an appearance on her Fox News show when she acknowledged the reality that multiple women have accused Trump of sexual assault."

I would like to remind you that after Kelly called on Trump's misogyny in an early debate, not only did he use it once again as an opportunity to attack Rosie O'Donnell (again!) but also Trump continued to attack Kelly over the next few weeks.
Does KellyAnne Conway stand behind Trump's actions and words?
Some of the surrogates coming to Donald Trump's defense to halt his sinking appeal with female voters might not be the best representatives for the candidate on such issues.

Star Jones reacted to Newt Gingrich's contentious interview with Megyn Kelly on her FOX News Channel show Wednesday night. She said, "Between Newt Gingrich, Giuliani and Chris Christie, they’ve got like the trifecta of misogyny. And then you got Newt Gingrich up here who -- didn’t he leave his wife while she was dying to marry the next wife? Give me a break, Newt." The truth is that the presidential candidate and former House speaker, and his first wife, Jackie
Battley, had already separated before she was hospitalized. He had filed for divorce, and she was seeking alimony and custody of their two children. And while Battley had earlier undergone cancer surgery, this time she was in the hospital recovering from surgery to remove a tumor that — according to one of the couple’s daughters — was benign. Battley isn’t talking to reporters, but she’s still very much alive. Read more HERE.
The fact does stand, however, that last night Gingrich deflected questions about Trump's sexual assault accusers in an interview with Kelley. Kelly Grilled Trump Advisor About Candidate
Insulting His Sexual Assault Accusers seven days ago.
Brava to Megyn Kelly for standing her ground by yet another man attempting his bullying tactics. It does stop with Gingrich. After Kelly's heated interview with Gingrich , Bill Clinton's accusers teamed up to sling mud.
Over at CNN, a justifiably furious Charles Blow exploded on Corey Lewandowski after being called a 'hypocrite'. Watch the exchange HERE.
ALSO, on CNN, this exchange took place: “I mean Rudy! I have looked up to you my entire life because you’re so accurate,” said Chris Cuomo as the exchange got heated. “And all of a sudden you’re in Trumpland, and the facts are all over the place.” As Giuliani dug deeper into the rabbit hole to make his case, Cuomo asserted, “You’re not even close to connecting anything yet. You’re not close.”

Wait! There's more...It got tense on “CNN
Tonight with Don Lemon” when the anchor was in the midst of a plug for the network's integrity and Trump advocate, Scottie Nell Hughes, brought up “she-who-shall-not-be-named”: Ex-CNN contributor and current Interim DNC Chair Donna Brazile. Read MORE.

Recently,  Kayleigh McEnany, one of CNN’s in-house Donald Trump surrogates, recently drew parallels between former Miss Universe Alicia Machado and a terror suspect. She was also lectured on what consent means when she attempted to defend his latest comments about an adult film star who alleged he groped her.
For more than a year, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s misogyny has captured the attention of the media and the public. Throughout his campaign, Trump has made disgusting and demeaning comments about women. The recording of Trump bragging about sexual assault and the
subsequent accusations about his sexual misconduct only amplify what he has displayed throughout his campaign: he views women as objects to be violated at will. Read MORE

Objectification is a notion central to feminist theory. It can be roughly defined as the seeing and/or treating a person, usually a woman, as an object. In this entry, the focus is primarily on sexual objectification, objectification occurring in the sexual realm. Martha Nussbaum (1995, 257) has identified seven features that are involved in the idea of treating a person as an object starting with instrumentality: the treatment of a
person as a tool for the objectifier's purposes...

Trump claims to have “great respect for women,” and he likes to say that “all are impressed with how nicely I have treated women.” But this, like so much of what he says, is a lie.

Donald Trump loves the polls. Donald Trump hates the polls. Donald Trump believes the polls are
accurate. Donald Trump doesn't believe the polls are accurate.
